Michael J. Tomson comes from a proud family of public servants, with deep roots in law enforcement, emergency response, and civil service. His career spans key roles within the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, with additional experience and family ties in firefighting through his brother's service in the Philadelphia Volunteer Fire Department.

With firsthand knowledge of law enforcement, transportation logistics, and emergency services, Michael brings a practical, informed perspective to the issues affecting our state’s frontline departments. He understands the challenges these professionals face—and is committed to improving safety, working conditions, and operational readiness across the board.
